Sana'a: Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Abdulsalam Hashoul, chaired a meeting on Sunday that included the Director of the Speaker's Office, Mu'in al-Ra'i, the Assistant Secretary-General of Parliament, Abdulrahman al-Mansour, and the heads of departments, office directors, and their deputies within the Parliament. During the meeting, the Deputy Speaker stressed the importance of unifying efforts and working as a team to elevate the level of job performance, achieve the highest levels of discipline, accomplish tasks efficiently, and improve the quality of work in line with current developments and modernizations.
According to Yemen News Agency, Hashoul underscored the significance of the legislative authority's staff serving as role models for other state institutions, highlighting the necessity of developing the administrative and technical capabilities and skills of the staff of the General Secretariat of Parliament. He praised the accumulated experience of the administrative and technical staff, emphasizing that responsibility is a trust that requires self-monitoring. Hashoul urged consideration of religious and national responsibilities, stressing the importance of achieving the highest levels of professional discipline.
The Deputy Speaker addressed the need for improving and developing job performance to meet goals and aspirations. He emphasized the importance of strong will and dedication to elevate the administrative and technical work of the General Secretariat of the House to the required level, enhancing the legislative and oversight tasks entrusted to the House of Representatives. The meeting also discussed evaluating the job performance of the staff, with Hashoul affirming the House's commitment to overcoming obstacles and providing necessary resources to empower staff with modern skills.
Abdulrahman al-Mansour, the Assistant Secretary-General, expressed gratitude to Hashoul for his efforts in institutionalizing work within the administrative and technical apparatus of the House. He highlighted the House's unique experience in evaluating the performance of its staff and pointed to the results of these evaluations.
