Amran:Massive rallies and marches were held on Wednesday in Amran governorate, involving students and educators, to condemn the actions of the Saudi aggressor, particularly the targeting of civilians and educational facilities.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants expressed their support for the armed forces in efforts to break the blockade, end the aggression, and uphold the principle of "escalation for escalation." They strongly condemned the ongoing crimes by Saudi forces against civilians and the education sector, affirming that such acts would not deter the Yemeni people from their resilience and determination.
A statement from the rallies highlighted the deliberate targeting of the educational process by Saudi aggression as part of a broader series of violations against Yemenis. It specifically denounced a Saudi airstrike in the Bayt Al-Lahidah area of Sa'awan, Bani Hushaish district, which resulted in the death of a female student and injuries to others, characterizing it as part of the continuous aggression since 2015.
The statement criticized the international community's silence and the UN's complicity in these violations of international laws and charters. It called on global human rights organizations to fulfill their responsibilities in addressing these crimes. The statement also praised the Yemeni Armed Forces for their successes in repelling Saudi troop movements and attacking enemy facilities, reaffirming support for military actions to confront aggression.
Participants reiterated their steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and resistance, marking the anniversary of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation. The statement urged the continued military pressure on Saudi forces to enforce the principle of "blockade for blockade" and maintain readiness until the aggression ends and the blockade is lifted.
