Raymah:Students at several schools in Raymah Province held protests on Wednesday, organized by the province's education sector, condemning Saudi actions and its mercenaries while praising the Yemeni Armed Forces' victories on various fronts.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants chanted slogans condemning Saudi crimes against children, women, and civilians across Yemen, including attacks on educational facilities and schools.
The protests strongly condemned the ongoing Saudi attacks against the Yemeni people, highlighting the resulting casualties and massacres targeting schools, health facilities, and other civilian gatherings, amid what they described as shameful international and UN silence.
Students affirmed their commitment to continue participating in activities opposing the aggression and supporting the Yemeni people, the Palestinian people in Gaza, and the defense of Islamic holy sites.
A statement issued by the protests declared that the targeting of educational and health facilities and civilian objects, resulting in casualties, constitutes full-fledged war crimes. These actions, they asserted, will only strengthen the Yemeni people's resilience, determination, and unity.
The statement also criticized the Saudi escalation, describing it as a reflection of the psychological and moral defeat and ethical collapse of the Saudi enemy, its allies, and mercenaries. It held human rights and humanitarian organizations and people worldwide responsible for their humanitarian and moral duties concerning Saudi crimes against Yemeni children, women, and students.
The statement called for firm responses from the Yemeni Armed Forces to these atrocities and urged Yemenis in both the north and south to unite against the Saudi enemy and its allies until all Yemeni territory is liberated. It reaffirmed the Yemeni people's commitment to the Palestinian cause and support for the oppressed and resistance fighters in Gaza, marking the anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
Gratitude was expressed for the Yemeni Armed Forces' significant victories in repelling Saudi military build-ups, liberating occupied areas, and carrying out strikes against facilities and bases deep inside Saudi territory.
