Amran University Gears Up for Fourth Annual Pediatric Medical Conference

Amran: The Preparatory Committee for the Fourth Annual Pediatric and Neonatal Medical Conference at Amran University convened on Wednesday to discuss the ongoing arrangements for the event. The meeting was chaired by the University President and Conference Chairman, Dr. Mohammed Haider Al-Dhulai.

According to Yemen News Agency, the committee reviewed the technical and logistical requirements essential for the success of the conference. The event is a collaborative effort between Amran University and 21 September University for Medical and Applied Sciences, with support from the Health and Environment Office, the President Martyr Saleh Al-Sammad Educational Hospital Authority, and the Maternity and Childhood Educational Hospital.

The meeting was attended by notable figures including Vice President for Graduate Studies Dr. Abdulfattah Al-Qurass, Dean of the University Quality Center Dr. Muti'a Al-Qahali, Chairman of the President Martyr Saleh Al-Sammad Educational Hospital Authority Dr. Abdulghani Fares, and Deputy Director of the Governorate Health Office Dr. Yahya Al-Hayti. Discussions centered around providing the necessary support to ensure the conference's success and aligning with the leadership's vision to advance the health sector through scientific research.

Dr. Al-Dhulai emphasized the importance of continuous evaluation of the preparatory committees' performance to finalize all arrangements. The conference, set for July 15-16 at Amran University, will feature participation from academic and research staff from both local and international universities.

Workshops accompanying the conference will focus on the latest advancements in emergency and critical pediatric care. These workshops aim to enhance the skills of frontline medical personnel in this critical specialty.
