The demonstrators, waving Yemeni and Palestinian flags, expressed their outrage through chants condemning American and Zionist actions. They pledged allegiance to Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, declaring readiness for mobilization in defense of the Quran. The gathering called upon Arab and Islamic nations to hold similar demonstrations and boycott goods from countries that insult Islamic sanctities, labeling this as a "minimum duty."
Participants described the desecration of the Quran as an affront to Muslims worldwide and a reflection of American-Zionist animosity towards Islam. They chanted slogans emphasizing resistance and solidarity with Palestine, asserting that enemies of Islam would not prevail.
The Grand Mufti of Yemen, Scholar Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din, addressed the crowd, praising Yemen's historical defense of the Quran and criticizing the Islamic world for being distracted from this issue. He highlighted Yemen's role in fulfilling the prophetic tradition of standing with the Quran.
