Hajjah: The Women's Commission in Hajjah Governorate organized large rallies on Friday under the slogan 'Mobilization and Readiness. In Support of the Qur'an and Palestine.' Participants in the governorate center and the districts of Qarah, Kushar, Kahlan 'Affar, Al-Mahabishah, Al-Shahil, Al-Shaghadirah, Mabyan, Washhah, Aflah Al-Sham, Al-Muftah, Al-Maghribah, Abs, Bani Al-Awwam, Wudrah, Khayran Al-Muharraq, Qafl Shamir, Kahlan Al-Sharaf, and Sharis chanted slogans denouncing the Zionist and American enemy and expressing support for Gaza and Lebanon.
According to Yemen News Agency, the participants voiced anger and outrage over the American offense against the Holy Qur'an, affirming a clear faith-based stance, a religious and moral responsibility that tolerates no compromise in the face of this heinous crime committed by a U.S. candidate through insulting the Qur'an. They called on the Arab and Islamic nations to stand up for the Holy Qur'an-the most sacred of Islamic sanctities-and to put an end to repeated offenses against the nation's sacred symbols.
The rallies stressed that the insult is neither an isolated incident nor an individual act, but part of a comprehensive and systematic war targeting the Holy Qur'an, seeking to undermine its sanctity in the hearts of Muslims, strike at the nation's identity, and sever it from the source of its dignity and strength. This comes as the Zionist enemy, with American and British support, Arab inaction, and global silence, continues its daily crimes in Palestine, its attacks on Lebanon, its violations in Syria, and its desecration of holy sites, foremost among them Al-Aqsa Mosque.
A statement issued by the rallies affirmed the full and steadfast adherence of Muslim women to the Holy Qur'an-the eternal Book of God-its upright methodology and straight path, as the source of identity and dignity. The statement emphasized that any offense against the Qur'an is a direct attack on the entire Islamic nation and will neither be accepted nor tolerated, nor allowed to pass under any misleading pretext such as 'freedom of expression' or other false labels, which are used in the West only to insult God, His Noble Book, and His prophets and messengers, while being prohibited when they concern Zionist Jews.
The statement strongly condemned the American crime offending the Book of God, holding the United States, Britain, and the Zionist enemy fully responsible for repeated offenses that reflect open hostility toward Islam and Muslims and are consistent with their long criminal record of aggression, occupation, violation of sanctities, and the killing of innocents and prophets without right.
It also reaffirmed the steadfastness of believing women in supporting the oppressed Palestinian Muslim people and their deep belief in the role of women in shaping positions and awareness-encouraging their men, sons, and brothers toward arenas of dignity, honor, and fulfilling their role in education, mobilization, effort, and active participation in various activities and events.
The statement announced the continuation of women's legitimate practical stances, foremost among them the path of economic boycott of American and Israeli goods, calling on the Arab and Islamic nations to engage seriously with this important course. It further called on the women of Yemen-the land of faith, wisdom, and jihad-to maintain honorable and active participation in squares, rallies, and events, in response to the directives of Sayyid Leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi (may God protect him), so that the voice of the free Yemeni woman reaches the world-an angry, rejecting voice against repeated American and Zionist offenses against the Holy Qur'an and sanctities-affirming steadfast faith-based resolve in confronting American and Israeli tyranny, full support for the Palestinian people, and readiness to confront enemy plots targeting Yemen and the nation.
