The Bureau characterized his appointment-based on his religious qualifications, wisdom, and courage-as a "new victory" for the Islamic Revolution and a strategic blow to its adversaries.
The statement further emphasized that this transition confirms Iran's continued commitment to its founding principles of resisting global hegemony and injustice. Expressing full confidence in the new leadership, the Political Bureau called upon the Islamic world to strengthen solidarity with the Iranian people in the face of ongoing international Zionist-American aggression, noting Iran's half-century legacy as a steadfast supporter of the oppressed and the Palestinian cause.
