Sana'a: The Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission and the Summer Courses Subcommittee have initiated an awareness program in the al-Wahda district of Sana'a. This program aims to foster integrity and prevent corruption among students attending summer courses.
According to Yemen News Agency, the initiative, themed "Knowledge and Jihad," is based on Quranic principles and the directives of the Leader of the Revolution. Raidan al-Mutawakil, Vice Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, discussed the program's focus on educating youth about the dangers and impacts of corruption on individuals and society in various sectors. He highlighted the importance of instilling a Quranic faith culture that denounces corruption, rooted in religious, national, and societal responsibility.
The event, attended by local officials, showcased the Commission's efforts to promote integrity and transparency among youth through educational summer courses. Speakers at the event emphasized the need for collective action to build a society that values integrity and actively opposes corruption.
On the opening day of the program, Dr. Yahya al-Marrani and Mohammed al-Qanas from the Anti-Corruption Commission delivered lectures and presented educational materials. These sessions focused on integrity, responsibility, honesty, and the risks and prevention of corruption. They also introduced the Commission's work, underscoring the importance of protecting youth from falling prey to corruption.
