Anti-Corruption Commission Refers 25 Defendants in Corruption Cases to Public Prosecution

Sana'a: The Council of the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission, in its meeting today chaired by the Commission's Deputy Head, Raydan Al-Mutawakkil, approved the referral of 25 defendants to the Public Prosecution in connection with corruption cases.

According to Yemen News Agency, the total damage in the cases, which involved acts of corruption including embezzlement of public funds, bribery, and harming state interests, amounted to 900,000 dollars and 33,900,000 riyals. The Council discussed in its meeting a number of cases on its agenda and took appropriate decisions regarding them.
