Armed Forces Target Saudi Oil Tanker in Northern Red Sea

General

Sana'a: In a strategic move to enforce a maritime blockade, the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted a Saudi oil tanker in the northern Red Sea. The operation, aimed at reinforcing the "blockade for a blockade" strategy, successfully hit the Saudi tanker "Wafa" with a series of ballistic missiles.

According to Yemen News Agency, this precise strike marks the eighth Saudi oil tanker targeted since the maritime blockade began on July 22nd. The campaign has also resulted in 29 Saudi oil tankers being turned back in the Red and Arabian Seas, demonstrating the extent of the Yemeni Armed Forces' naval control.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have effectively tightened their blockade from Bab al-Mandab in the southern Red Sea, prompting the Saudi side to divert its oil tanker routes toward the northern Red Sea. Despite this adjustment, Yemeni operations will persist and intensify in the northern Red Sea, aiming to close all access points and maintain the blockade-for-blockade equation.
