Bajil: A large armed tribal gathering took place in Bajil district of Hodeida governorate on Sunday, expressing support for recent military and security gains and emphasizing high readiness levels.
According to Yemen News Agency, the rally, attended by local officials including Amer Muthanan, Hodeida undersecretary, featured participants raising weapons and chanting slogans, while voicing support for what they described as achievements by allied forces and security agencies.
Speakers at the event highlighted local mobilization efforts and stressed continued preparedness in the face of potential escalation. District Director Abdulmonem al-Rifa'i praised the turnout and described it as a sign of cohesion and resilience at the community level.
A statement issued during the rally called for ongoing mobilization and support for frontlines, while also commending security authorities for countering alleged hostile activities.
Participants reiterated their political stance on regional issues, including support for the Palestinian cause, and affirmed alignment with leadership positions moving forward.
