Taiz: The General Authority of Endowments and Guidance Office, in collaboration with the Scholars and Students Unit in Taiz Governorate, hosted an awareness seminar titled 'The Qur'anic Project: Slogan and Content' to commemorate the Al-Sarkah anniversary. The event took place on Tuesday and highlighted the foundational principles and strategic vision behind the Al-Sarkah slogan, particularly in the context of confronting external threats.
According to Yemen News Agency, cultural activist Aref Al-Junaid emphasized the Qur'anic underpinnings of the Al-Sarkah slogan, describing it as a strategic tool for moral mobilization. Al-Junaid explained that the slogan, introduced by a martyred leader, played a crucial role in restoring faith in Allah and countering media misinformation. He noted that it has significantly contributed to reshaping the collective consciousness of the nation, particularly in the face of military and cultural campaigns by perceived adversaries, including the United States and Israel.
Al-Junaid further elaborated that the principles of relying on Allah and trusting in His promise form the bedrock of the renaissance project, inspiring many to actively engage in addressing contemporary challenges. These faith-based principles have been pivotal in motivating individuals to fulfill their responsibilities.
Hafez Al-Jaafari, Director of the Preachers' Department in the Guidance Sector, added that the Al-Sarkah slogan emerged as a powerful response to the period of stagnation and silence following the events of September. He stressed that the slogan was not just rhetoric but a practical stance that reshaped public awareness and galvanized popular opposition to policies perceived as humiliating and exploitative.
Al-Jaafari highlighted that international reactions underscored the adversaries' recognition of the slogan's significance. He pointed out that the slogan has helped redirect the conflict towards the true adversaries, strengthened Yemen's position in support of the Palestinian cause, and reinforced the concepts of loyalty and disavowal in alignment with the Qur'anic approach.
