Taiz: Cultural and awareness seminars were held on Tuesday in the districts of Al-Taiziyah, Salh, Al-Misrakh, Hayfan, Khadir, Shar’ab Al-Salam, Al-Rawna, Maqbanah, Al-Salo, and Samea in Taiz Governorate. These events were organized to commemorate the annual anniversary of the ‘Al-Sarkah of Defiance against the Arrogant,’ under the theme ‘The Qur’anic Project: Slogan and Substance.’
According to Yemen News Agency, the seminars featured speeches highlighting the importance of commemorating the anniversary of the slogan. The events served as a reminder of the stages the Qur’anic project has undergone and the crimes committed by arrogant powers against the oppressed people of Gaza and the Islamic world. The commemoration was also seen as an expression of disavowal from the enemies of Allah.
The anniversary was marked as an important milestone in remembering the sacrifices made by the late leader Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi in service of the Qur’anic project. The speeches stressed that observing this anniversary reflects the community’s awareness of its importance and reaffirms commitment to the principles and values from which it originated.
The seminars emphasized that the slogan of defiance has mobilized Yemen to confront tyrants and arrogant powers. It remains strongly present in the consciousness of free peoples, despite attempts to target it since its inception. It was noted that the slogan will continue to serve as a stance and a tool for strengthening Qur’anic culture, faith-based identity, and confronting enemies.
The challenges and conspiracies faced by the late leader since the launch of the Qur’anic project were also discussed. The seminars addressed the struggles following the announcement of the slogan against oppressors and arrogant powers, leading up to the wars fought until his martyrdom alongside his companions.
The seminars concluded by reaffirming continued resilience and high readiness to confront dangers and challenges targeting the faith-based identity.
