Sana'a: A training course for development leaders in the field of development work was concluded on Monday in Bani Al-Harith district in the capital Sana'a. The course was organized by the district's local council, Bunyan Development Foundation, and Bunyan Academy for Training and Rehabilitation, as part of the Volunteer Support Program.
According to Yemen News Agency, over the span of 17 days, 25 trainees received training focused on the fundamentals of volunteer work, development resources, community initiatives, and urban development. This initiative was supported by the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Funding Unit of Sana'a governorate, in cooperation with the Social Affairs and Labor Office and the Agricultural Cooperative Union of the Sana'a Governorate.
At the closing ceremony, Hamad bin Rakan, Director of Bani Al-Harith District, highlighted the significance of the development leaders' roles and responsibilities. He stressed the importance of activating and expanding cooperative work and building effective partnerships within the community. This is to facilitate the implementation of service and development initiatives and projects aimed at sustainable development in the district. Bin Rakan urged the trainees to apply the skills and knowledge gained from the course in their professional endeavors, to foster community initiatives, and to achieve the district's development objectives.
