Abu dhabi: The Deputy Foreign Minister affirmed that the recent statement issued in the name of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) misrepresents the events unfolding in the region and aligns with the US-Israeli narrative.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Foreign Minister explained that the statement failed to mention that the US came from the far reaches of the earth to launch a blatant aggression and commit crimes against a Muslim people in the region. He pointed out that the statement also failed to mention that US and Israeli bases and interests are being targeted by the Iranian Muslim army as a legitimate response to these attacks.
Abu Ras emphasized that the large-scale targeting of US bases and interests in the region proves that some regimes in the region have transformed their countries into US-Zionist bases and are currently fighting to defend these bases and interests. This is extremely shameful and terrifying for the future of those countries.
He pointed out that this round of attacks by the criminal Zionist regimes - the American and Israeli regimes - was not the first attack on Muslim peoples and countries in the region. Crimes have been committed in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Yemen, Iraq, and elsewhere in the past.
The Deputy Foreign Minister also stressed that these regimes must reconsider their current positions in favor of their people and the causes of their nation, and in a way that achieves their strategic security. Otherwise, they will find themselves fighting the enemies of the nation, and their fate will ultimately be the same as theirs.
In closing, Abu Ras reiterated the Republic of Yemen's full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and the brotherly Iranian people in the face of the American-Israeli-Zionist aggression targeting their sovereignty, security, and stability.
