Bani Matar, Bilad al-Rus, and Manakhah Commemorate Ashura with Central Rallies

Bani matar: The local authority in Bani Matar district of Sana'a governorate, in coordination with the Mobilization Department, organized a central rally on Wednesday to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein under the slogan "Never to Humiliation." At the event, attended by Shura Council member Mohammed Salman and the district's Mobilization Officer, Mutaa al-Mutaa, the district director, Yahya al-Qanous, reviewed aspects of Imam Hussein's life, drawing lessons of patience and steadfastness in the face of injustice and tyranny.

According to Yemen News Agency, Yahya al-Qanous highlighted the dimensions of Imam Hussein's revolution and the injustice he suffered. He further discussed the aggression, siege, and systematic war crimes perpetrated against the Yemeni people. Al-Qanous emphasized the need to draw upon the revolutionary values of Imam Hussein's school of thought to strengthen resilience against the enemies of the nation.

The head of guidance at the directorate, Muhammad al-Qasimi, addressed the injustice faced by Imam Hussein at the hands of brutality, oppression, and arrogance. He noted that commemorating Ashura reflects the high esteem in which Imam Hussein is held by Yemenis and reaffirms their commitment to following his path in confronting the forces of invasion and occupation.

In Bilad al-Rus district, the education sector, in collaboration with the mobilization department, organized a similar event commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and Imam Zayd under the slogan "Never shall we submit to humiliation." Deputy Governor Talib Dahhan emphasized that this commemoration is a significant event in the history of the nation in its resistance against oppressors.

Dahhan called for drawing lessons and inspiration from the events of Karbala, the tragedy of Imam Hussein, and his revolution, utilizing them in confronting tyrants and strengthening the path of sacrifice and patience. He pointed out that the nation's people are currently experiencing similar events as a result of Israeli and American aggression.

Meanwhile, the director of the directorate, Saleh Naji, indicated that commemorating the anniversary renews resolve, steadfastness, and resilience in the face of injustice, tyranny, and arrogance. He emphasized the importance of embodying the revolutionary values that Imam Hussein carried in his revolution and following in the footsteps of the nation's luminaries in rectifying the nation's current situation.

In Manakhah district, a commemorative event was held to mark the martyrdom of Imam Hussein ibn Ali under the slogan "Never shall we submit to humiliation." Participants in the Lahab area emphasized the importance of commemorating the occasion, given its significance in reinforcing the values of sacrifice, steadfastness, and patience in the face of tyrants and oppressors.
