According to Yemen News Agency, the speakers at the commemoration urged the audience to draw lessons from Imam Zaid's uprising. They highlighted the importance of reviving the values of martyrdom and directing jihad towards the true enemy, whom they hold responsible for brutal genocidal crimes, displacement, siege, and starvation.
The event also called for spreading true Islamic teachings while eliminating false cultures. It presented a clear vision for change and emphasized standing against injustice and tyranny. The speakers affirmed that Imam Zaid's revolution was an extension of his grandfather Imam Hussein's uprising. They stressed that it serves as a foundation for contemporary revolutions against global arrogance, emphasizing the importance of emulating Imam Zaid's approach in confronting what they termed the "tyrants of the age: America and Occupation."
