Bayda Reviews Preparations for 1448 AH Academic Year

Bayda: A meeting chaired by Governor Abdullah Idris reviewed on Sunday preparations for the upcoming 1448 AH academic year and discussed measures to address challenges facing the education sector in the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting brought together Bayda undersecretaries Abdullah Al-Jamali and Nasser Al-Aji, along with education sector officials from districts across the governorate. Participants reviewed the difficulties that affected the educational process during the previous academic year and examined proposed solutions and measures aimed at overcoming those challenges and improving educational performance.

During the meeting, governor Idris praised the efforts of educational leaders and teachers for maintaining the continuity of education under current circumstances. He reaffirmed the local authority's commitment to supporting the education sector within the limits of available resources. The governor called for the mobilization of efforts and resources to ensure the success of the new academic year and to address the effects of the challenges that have impacted the education sector in recent years.

The meeting also heard a report presented by Education Sector Official Sarhan Sawad, who outlined the procedures and preparations undertaken for the start of the new academic year in accordance with the plan of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research. The discussions concluded with an emphasis on continued coordination among education authorities and local officials to provide the necessary conditions for a successful and stable academic year across the governorate.
