Bayda Zakat Authority Distributes Ramadan Food Baskets in al Qurayshiyah District

Bayda: The General Authority of Zakat in Bayda province has launched a Ramadan food basket distribution project in al-Qurayshiyah district, benefiting 3,000 impoverished families at a cost of 75 million Y.R.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Abdullah Idris emphasized that the project aligns with the directives of the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to support the poor and needy, fostering social solidarity during Ramadan. He highlighted the importance of charitable initiatives in promoting social solidarity and urged affluent individuals to donate through the Zakat Authority.

Haider Al-Gharib, Director of the Zakat Authority Office, detailed that the project targets the poor, needy, and disabled, embodying the authority’s commitment to supporting vulnerable populations during the holy month. He praised the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council’s focus on humanitarian aid.

Ahmed al-Qabli, Director of al-Quraishiyah district, stressed the project’s significance in assisting families in need and promoting social solidarity within the district.
