Bids Opened for Purchase of Lighting Maintenance Equipment in the Capital

Sana'a: Today, at the Capital Secretariat, bids were opened for a project to purchase and supply equipment for maintaining energy-efficient streetlights, converting inoperative solar-powered streetlights to energy-efficient models, and supplying maintenance tools at an estimated cost of 52 million riyals. The Tenders Committee approved referring the bids to the Technical Analysis Committee for review and evaluation.

According to Yemen News Agency, the project aims to enhance the efficiency and reliability of street lighting in the capital. The proposed conversion of solar-powered streetlights to energy-efficient models is expected to improve lighting infrastructure and reduce energy consumption.

The Technical Analysis Committee will now assess the submissions to ensure that the equipment and tools meet the required standards and specifications. The outcome of this evaluation will determine the final selection of suppliers for the project.
