Taiz: The Bonyan Development Foundation and agricultural cooperative associations in Taiz Governorate concluded a training course on development work in the governorate’s districts, as part of the volunteer support program.

According to Yemen News Agency, the 10-day course was organized by the Bonyan Foundation and Academy and funded by the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in the governorate, in cooperation with the branch of the Agricultural Cooperative Union. It aimed to equip 13 trainees from the ‘Engineering Knights’ with comprehensive knowledge and experience in development work policies and methodologies, within the Civil Engineering Knights program.

The Undersecretary of the Governorate for Development Affairs, Abdulwasie Al-Shamsee, emphasized the strategic importance of the role of the Engineering Knights in enhancing agricultural development across the districts. He stressed the need to translate theoretical outcomes into tangible results that contribute to advancing the agricultural and fisheries sectors in the governorate.

He also affirmed the commitment of the local authority to overcome all difficulties and obstacles that may face field teams during the preparation of technical studies and project evaluations.
