Sana'a: British journalist, activist, and director of RT's Lebanon bureau, Steve Sweeney, expressed his admiration for the organization of the third international conference "Palestine, nation central issue," held in Sana'a. At the event's conclusion, Sweeney conveyed his pride in breaking the siege on Yemen and standing in solidarity with a people firmly supporting Palestine against global dominance.

According to Yemen News Agency, Sweeney shared his reflections on participating in the conference, stating, "I had some questions while coming to Yemen, are you afraid or do you feel afraid, and the answer was, I feel afraid of what, but I feel proud because I am standing with a people who are steadfast against global imperialism." He emphasized the strength and courage he felt in aligning with those resisting imperialism and Zionism, noting that such resilience is incomprehensible to figures like Netanyahu and Trump.

Sweeney highlighted Ansar Allah's role as a pivotal force in the resistance axis, defending the oppressed and championing the cause of Palestine. He underscored the collective aspiration to liberate Palestine, a mission necessitating sacrifice and honoring figures like Hajj Qassem Soleimani, Yahya Sinwar, and Ismail Haniyeh.

He praised Ansar Allah's efforts in confronting acts of aggression led by Israel and the U.S., accusing them of committing crimes against Palestinians in Gaza. Sweeney also reflected on historical victories achieved by Muslims, asserting the capability of achieving triumphs across different eras.

Sweeney issued a call to action, urging the international community to isolate Israel economically and politically, labeling it a terrorist entity. He advocated for a boycott against the Zionist regime and its supporters to halt what he termed as genocide in Gaza, drawing parallels to the solidarity movements that helped dismantle apartheid in South Africa.

He commended the revolutionary leadership and Yemeni people for their resistance against the actions of the Zionist entity and encouraged support for Yemen's blockade of Israeli ships in the Red Sea, emphasizing the need to uphold resistance until victory is secured.
