Sanaa: Al-Hodeida Governor Abdullah Atifi and First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri inaugurated the Eid Clothing Exhibition for needy children in the Al-Mina district. The event took place in the city square as part of humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of poor families.
According to Yemen News Agency, the exhibition targets 2,000 boys and girls from poor and needy families. It is funded by the General Authority for Zakat and Philanthropists and implemented by the Ithar Al-Khair Social Development Foundation. Al-Bishri highlighted the Eid clothing project as a model of humanitarian work and commended all parties involved in organizing and supporting the exhibition.
Mohammed Halisi, Undersecretary for Services Affairs, stated that the exhibition promotes community solidarity. He urged for increased efforts to ensure that the largest number of needy families benefit from such initiatives.
Ali Kabari, Undersecretary of the City Square, acknowledged the role of the Zakat Commission, the Zakat Office, and the Ithar Foundation in implementing humanitarian projects. He emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships to support needy families.
Mohammed Hazza'a, the director of the Zakat Commission's office in the province, noted that the Eid clothing exhibition is part of the commission's programs to support deserving groups. He mentioned that this initiative is part of broader activities and projects targeting various districts of the province.
Imad Maiyad, head of the Ithar Al-Khair Foundation, explained that the exhibition is part of the charitable programs implemented by the foundation in collaboration with the Zakat Commission.
