Sana'a: The Kifl Development Foundation launched its Eid clothing project in the districts of the Sana'a City, as part of its fifth annual Ramadan project for the year 1447 AH. The project targets 3,150 children from the poorest families.
According to Yemen News Agency, at the launch, the Foundation's Chairman, Ali Baidan, emphasized the importance of the Eid clothing project in alleviating the suffering of targeted families in the governorate's districts and bringing joy to children, especially given the current circumstances resulting from the ongoing aggression and blockade. He called for the adoption of relief efforts and addressing the concerns and needs of citizens to strengthen social solidarity. He urged businessmen and those of means to support the Foundation's activities and programs and contribute to such charitable projects.
For his part, the Projects Director at the Kifl Development Foundation, Engineer Wissam Al-Mahdi, reviewed the activities and programs adopted and implemented by the Foundation during the holy month, which contribute to supporting poor, needy, and targeted families. He pointed out the foundation's commitment to providing aid to the needy and impoverished segments of society to promote the principles of brotherhood, tolerance, and social solidarity, which are encouraged by Islam. He called on businessmen, philanthropists, and the affluent to support charitable projects and stand by the poor, especially given the difficult economic conditions the country is experiencing as a result of the aggression and blockade.
