Evenings in Hajjah Commemorating Martyrdom of Imam Ali, Int’l Quds Day

Hajjah: Evenings were held in the districts of Aflah al-Sham, Bani Qais, Qarah, al-Mahabishah, al-Miftah, and Bani al-Awam in Hajjah Governorate to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and International Quds Day.

According to Yemen News Agency, these evenings were organized by the security forces of Aflah al-Sham district, along with the residents of al-Waraqiyah in the district, al-Buni in Bani Qais, Hajar al-Yamani and al-Awsat in al-Mahabishah, al-Sarabi in Bani al-Awam, al-Qaz'ah in al-Miftah, and al-Shatawiyah in Qarah. The events featured speeches that highlighted the life and character of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), his contributions to Islam and the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and his virtues such as asceticism, piety, knowledge, and patience.

The speeches emphasized the significance of commemorating this occasion to demonstrate sincere allegiance to Allah, His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), Imam Ali, and the guiding lights of Islam. They also aimed to reinforce faith-based identity and Quranic culture.

Attended by district directors, mobilization officials, and local community figures, the gatherings also focused on the unwavering Yemeni stance in support of the Palestinian cause, considering it a central issue until the liberation of Palestine from the Zionist enemy.

The discussions highlighted the continuation of the path of jihad and readiness to confront adversaries, fostering awareness of loyalty to Allah and His Messenger, and underscored the importance of defending the land and honor, and achieving victory for the causes of the nation.

Furthermore, the speeches urged the community to utilize the school break to protect children and youth from misguided ideologies, to provide them with spiritual guidance from Allah and the Holy Quran, and to equip them with athletic and cultural skills.
