Sana'a: A meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi was held on Saturday in the capital Sana'a to review the public cleanliness plan coinciding with Yemenis' celebrations of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The meeting, attended by senior ministers and officials, focused on strengthening the role of cleanliness funds in the Capital Secretariat and governorates to enhance sanitation efforts and support cleaning workers and their families.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized the government's commitment to continuously improving public cleanliness and thanked sanitation workers for their efforts in maintaining streets and neighborhoods. Officials reviewed the challenges faced by the sanitation sector and discussed solutions to address them, highlighting the need for complementary efforts at both official and community levels.
The meeting stressed the importance of coordinated action across central and local authorities to implement the plan and improve cleanliness during the Prophet's birthday celebrations and throughout the year.
