Beirut: The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Capital Sanaa appreciated the directives of the Ministry of Interior that support economic and investment activities and prevent the closure of any economic or commercial activity by executive offices or government agencies except by legal and judicial orders and competent procedures.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Capital Secretariat, Ali Al-Hadi, affirmed that these directives represent an important step in enhancing the business environment, protecting economic and investment activities, and consolidating the principle of the rule of law, which contributes to providing a more stable climate for the private sector and enables commercial, industrial, and service enterprises to operate normally.
He pointed out that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry has always emphasized the importance of protecting economic activities from any procedures that hinder their work outside legal frameworks, given the direct impact on the continuity of production and operation, the preservation of job opportunities, and the stimulation of investment.
He noted that these directives reflect the Ministry's keenness to strengthen partnership with the private sector and provide the necessary guarantees for practicing economic activities in accordance with applicable laws.
Al-Hadi reiterated the readiness of the Chamber's leadership to cooperate with various official bodies in a way that contributes to addressing the challenges facing the private sector, enhancing its role in economic development, and serving the national economy.
