Capital sana'a: Capital Sana'a Mayor Dr. Hamoud Ubad inspected ongoing rehabilitation, landscaping, and improvement works at the entrances to Al-Sabeen Square and the surrounding roads as part of preparations for celebrations marking the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, Ubad reviewed the works being carried out by field teams along Al-Sittin and Presidency Eastern streets, which include rehabilitation, maintenance, and painting of sidewalks and curbs. The projects also involve landscaping and planting the central medians and traffic islands with various shrubs, flowers, and trees.
The Mayor stated that the works aim to improve and rehabilitate the main entrances to Al-Sabeen Square and nearby streets to give them an attractive and modern appearance, reflecting the significance of the occasion and its importance to the Yemeni people.
He commended the efforts of the Public Works, Projects, and Agriculture sectors, the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit, the Cleaning and Improvement Fund and Project, and other relevant offices in executing the rehabilitation and improvement works. These preparations are in anticipation of the main celebration to be held at Al-Sabeen Square and the Military College Square.
Ubad confirmed that Capital Sana'a is witnessing extensive works across various sectors, alongside ongoing official and popular celebrations in neighborhoods and districts, in anticipation of the Prophet's birthday.
