Sana'a: The Finance, Civil Service, Administrative Development, Statistics, and Planning offices in the Capital Sana'a: on Tuesday organized a ceremonial event marking the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by heads of local council planning committees Sharf al-Hadi and Adel al-Aqari, along with Deputy Mazen Nu'man, and it highlighted the religious and historical significance of the occasion.
Hamoud al-Naqeeb, Head of the Social Affairs Committee, emphasized Yemenis' deep connection to the Prophet, recalling the loyal support of the Ansar in early Islam. Dr. Mohammed Al-Junaid, Finance Office Director, noted that celebrating the Prophet's birthday strengthens faith, national pride, and moral values.
Cultural activist Hassan Khiran stressed that honoring the Prophet also reflects Yemenis' solidarity with Gaza and the Palestinian people, inspired by the teachings and example of Muhammad, the Messenger of God.
