Dhamar: The branches of the General Corporation for Telecommunications, the General Authority of Post, and the General Authority of Zakat organized a rhetorical event on Wednesday marking the 1447 AH annual anniversary of the 'Al-Sarkah Against the Arrogant Powers.' During the event, Deputy Governor Mahmoud Al-Jubain emphasized the importance of this anniversary as a faith-based and educational milestone, encouraging a return to Quranic principles.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Jubain highlighted the need for adherence to divine guidance, especially after the holy month of Ramadan. He stressed that these principles are crucial for mitigating adversaries' influence and strengthening national resilience. Al-Jubain also addressed the ongoing challenges faced by the Islamic nation, including escalating tensions in Palestine and Lebanon and U.S. alliances perceived as threats to regional resources and identity.

Director of the Zakat Authority branch, Ibrahim Al-Mutawakkil, noted that the anniversary represents a revivalist project reflecting national awareness and the ability to confront challenges. He remarked that the 'Al-Sarkah' has inspired a psychological shift within society, enhancing awareness and challenging the image of arrogant powers.

Al-Mutawakkil described the 'Al-Sarkah' as a continuation of the prophets' path, aimed at reviving the nation and fostering independence. He credited it with overcoming societal fears and bolstering trust in divine guidance, countering psychological warfare, and showcasing the resilience of a cohesive populace.

Cultural activist Hashem Al-Kadhimi added that the Quranic project encompasses societal building and reinforces values like solidarity and zakat, vital for social justice. The anniversary serves as a renewal of commitment to the principles of the martyr leader, aiming to bolster societal awareness and confront challenges with faith and consciousness.
