Capital Secretariat Concludes Training Course for Female Development Leaders in Maeen and Al-Wahda

The local authority in capital secretariat: , in cooperation with the Bunyan Development Foundation, has concluded a training course for female development leaders in Maeen and Al-Wahda districts.

According to Yemen News Agency, the course was organized by the Bunyan Training and Qualification Academy under the Volunteer Support Program. The 18-day course aimed to equip 56 trainees with the basics of volunteer work, development resources, community initiatives, and urban development. This initiative was supported by the Projects, Agricultural and Fisheries Initiatives Financing Unit in the capital and coordinated with the Women's Authority.

The program included lectures and workshops in various fields, all designed to build participants' capacities in development work. It provided them with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively contribute to sustainable local development and community service.

Organizers emphasized the importance of qualifying and empowering women with the tools of volunteer and community work. They highlighted the positive impact of these efforts on implementing development initiatives and promoting a culture of giving and social responsibility.
