Capital Secretariat Sees Distribution of 25,000 Food Meals for Needy Families in Al-Wahda District

Sana'a: The Ihsan Charity Kitchen and Bakery, located in the Al-Balili neighborhood of Al-Wahda District, has distributed approximately 25,000 food meals to impoverished and needy families in the district. This philanthropic effort coincides with the celebration of the Prophet's Birthday.

According to Yemen News Agency, Ammar Al-Mahfadi, an official from the Ihsan Charity Kitchen and Bakery, stated that the charitable initiative began over five weeks ago. The initiative was launched following directives from the Revolution Leader as part of the Prophet's Birthday celebrations, and it functions under the supervision of a committee designated for Al-Wahda District.

Al-Mahfadi noted that the kitchen and bakery distribute food meals to more than 700 families daily in the Al-Balili neighborhood through 22 field representatives. Additionally, the Al-Wahda Charity Bakery provides bread to 700 families across various neighborhoods, including Atan, Al-Siyasi, Industrial Complex, Al-Sabaha, Al-Safiya Al-Gharbiya, Al-Balili, and Al-Omanaa.

He emphasized their commitment to implementing the Revolution Leader's directives, which aim to promote social solidarity, support impoverished families, address their needs, alleviate their struggles, and engage in charitable projects and initiatives.
