Sana'a: The Slaughterhouses and Meat Markets Office in the capital Sana'a organized a celebratory event to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The event was attended by the heads of the Governorate's Planning and Finance Committees, Sharaf Al-Hadi and Adel Al-Aqqari, along with several other governorate officials.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor for Agricultural Affairs Mohammed Sari' emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday as a means to strengthen attachment to the Prophet and emulate his noble example. He highlighted the significance of this occasion in the hearts of Yemenis and their historic relationship with the Prophet, affirming their commitment to his message and their roles in supporting Islam.
Sari' urged participation in the central celebration on 12 Rabi' Al-Awwal at Al-Sabeen Square, which he described as a celebration of the birth of the master of humanity and the Prophet of mercy and compassion.
Director of the Slaughterhouses Office Ahmed Idris spoke about the commemoration as a renewal of allegiance to the Messenger of Allah, emphasizing the occasion as an opportunity for spiritual purification and adherence to the Holy Quran. He highlighted the Prophet's life as rich in human values, reinforcing the principle of striving in the cause of Allah against forces of disbelief.
Idris also criticized 'subservient regimes,' particularly Saudi Arabia and the UAE, for undermining the Palestinian cause. He affirmed Yemen's leadership and people's support for Gaza as an extension of adherence to the Prophet's path and the Holy Quran.
Guidance Officer in Al-Sabeen District Ahmed Al-Siraji discussed the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday, emphasizing adherence to his values, principles, and morals, and strengthening commitment to the Holy Quran and its teachings.
