Southern capital secretariat: The Preventive Correctional Facility in the southern Capital Secretariat organized today a speech and cultural event commemorating the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (PBUH).
According to Yemen News Agency, the event featured speeches that emphasized the significance of commemorating this occasion as a way to connect with the Messenger of God (PBUH), reinforcing values of solidarity and compassion among community members, and integrating his morals and upright approach into practical reality. The speakers highlighted the importance of emulating the Greatest Messenger in conduct and stances, and following his path to rally the nation in confronting the adversaries of Islam and supporting its causes, particularly the plight of the Palestinian people in Gaza, who are enduring genocide and starvation.
The event also reviewed the significance of this important religious occasion, noting that celebrating the Mawlid serves as an opportunity to entrench religious values and the teachings of the noble Prophet, and to embody love for him in behavior and stances.
Notable attendees included the Deputy Prosecutor of the Western Capital Secretariat, Judge Khaled Al-Jarmouzi; the Director General of Care and Rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation and Correction Authority, Brigadier General Khalil Al-Nu'ami; his deputy Majed Al-Hadi; the Correctional Facility Director Colonel Abdul Ghani Al-Sanbani; and the head of the joint chamber Major Ahmed Al-Hadi. The event was also attended by the Authority's Relations Director Jihad Al-Wazir, the Deputy Director of Moral Guidance Ibrahim Ja'dal, the Media Director Mueen Hanash, along with several officers, personnel from the security and correctional areas, and detainees at the facility. The program included poetic recitals, chants, folk Bara', and purposeful theatrical performances.
