Sana'a: The management of the Yemeni Company for Pharmaceuticals Industry and Trade (YEDCO) held a speech event on Monday to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. According to Yemen News Agency, YEDCO Chairman Dr. Mohammed Al-Tehami described the occasion as an important opportunity to reflect on the noble values embodied by the Prophet Muhammad, such as excellence, integrity, diligence, and good conduct. He stressed that these principles should be reinforced in the workplace and daily life.
Dr. Al-Tehami highlighted that the pharmaceutical sector carries a humanitarian mission aimed at alleviating people's suffering and protecting their health and lives. He emphasized that pharmaceutical work transcends manufacturing or commercial activities, drawing inspiration from the Prophet's teachings on compassion and assistance.
Al-Tehami underscored the necessity for the highest standards of quality, precision, and ethical responsibility in pharmaceutical manufacturing, as each product directly impacts people's health and safety. He urged the need for continuous improvement in performance.
He attributed the company's achievements in research, production, and distribution to the collective efforts and teamwork of its employees, commending all YEDCO personnel for their dedication to sustaining the company's operations and societal role.
The chairman expressed appreciation for the contributions of the company's scientists, researchers, production workers, quality-control personnel, marketing teams, and administrative staff. He emphasized their dedication as key to the company's ability to provide services and contribute to the community.
Al-Tehami called for ongoing development across various fields to enhance the company's role in alleviating patient suffering and promoting well-being, reflecting values inspired by the Prophet's birthday. He encouraged all employees to participate in the central celebration on 12 Rabi' Al-Awwal in Sana'a.
