Azal District Hosts Student Event to Commemorate Prophet’s Birthday

Sana'a: A student event was held in Azal district of Sana'a governorate on Monday to commemorate the Prophet's Birthday, with the participation of Deputy Governor Dr. Qanaf Al-Marrani.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was also attended by Director of the Educational District Abdulrahman Al-Fasih and District Mobilization Officer Abdullah Al-Bahiri. Al-Bahiri stressed the importance of drawing lessons and noble values from the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and instilling them in future generations. He emphasized the need to uphold Islamic identity and protect students from soft warfare and misleading ideologies.

Meanwhile, Deputy Director of the Educational District Sabah Al-Matari highlighted the educational role in raising students' awareness of the significance of the occasion, strengthening their connection with the Prophet, and encouraging them to emulate his values, morals, and righteous path.

On the sidelines of the event, which featured Quranic recitations, poetry, theatrical performances, and traditional dances, an exhibition of students' creative sculptures and classroom decorations, including banners and green flags, was opened to mark the Prophet's Birthday.

The event was attended by Head of the local Parents' Council Sheikh Sharaf Al-Wadi'i, along with educational leaders and staff. Meanwhile, residents of the Ammar bin Yasser Al-Sharqiyah neighborhood in Al-Naqam District and the Ghoul Al-Bals neighborhood in Al-Rumah District, Azal, organized a joint evening celebration to commemorate the Prophet's Birthday.

During the evening, Director of the Directorate Mohammed Al-Ghulaisi and Mobilization Officer Abdullah Al-Bahiri stressed the importance of commemorating the great religious occasion, highlighting the various celebrations held across neighborhoods and districts and the importance of emulating the Prophet's noble life and values in promoting solidarity, compassion, cooperation, and benevolence. They also called on residents to mobilize and participate widely in the central celebration.
