Al-Quds Military Hospital Hosts Event to Celebrate Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Sana'a: A speech event was held on Monday in the capital Sana'a to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The event was organized by staff members of Al-Quds Military Hospital.

According to Yemen News Agency, Major General Yahya Al-Mahdi, Head of the Defense and Security Committee of the Shura Council, emphasized the significance of the occasion, associating it with the greatest of men and leaders and the founder of principles of justice and freedom. He described the commemoration as an opportunity for the nation to draw lessons and inspiration from the Prophet's life throughout its history.

He expressed that the nation is currently in urgent need of correcting its course and addressing its difficult reality to become capable of confronting challenges and overcoming dangers and conspiracies plotted against it by hegemonic and arrogant powers.

Al-Mahdi highlighted the importance of broad mobilization and participation in the central celebration to convey the people's message to the world.

The event was attended by Hospital Director Brigadier General Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Qudami. Cultural activist Yahya Abu Awada reviewed aspects of the life of Prophet Muhammad, emphasizing the significance of Yemenis commemorating the religious occasion.

He stressed the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday as an opportunity for Yemenis to express their deep attachment to the Prophet and draw inspiration from his life and noble example in ways that guide the nation toward the right and sound path and strengthen its will and ability to confront its enemies.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Hospital Director's Office stated that celebrating the Prophet's birthday is a celebration of the birth of the nation's greatest leader, providing an opportunity to recall key aspects of his life and reaffirm commitment to following his path.

He noted that Yemenis celebrate the occasion every year with great enthusiasm, reflecting the significance they attach to the Prophet Muhammad.
