Sa'dah: The people of Sa'dah province celebrated Yawm al-Wilayah in the provincial center and districts in more than twenty squares, with official and popular attendance. Participants affirmed that commemorating this occasion expresses the joy of Yemenis at the completion of religion and the perfection of divine blessing through the guardianship (wilayah) of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

According to Yemen News Agency, participants stressed their adherence to the principle of wilayah, which extends from the guardianship of God and His Messenger, and considered it the reason for their strength and victory in confronting the enemies of God - the Jews, Christians, and hypocrites.

They pointed out that wilayah serves as a safeguard for the nation against allegiance to Jews and Christians, and that the Yemeni people's connection to this principle has enabled them to take honorable stances on the nation's causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

They renewed their covenant to continue on the path of the Holy Quran and to be ready for any upcoming rounds with the forces of arrogance - America and Israel. The celebrations featured folklore segments and poems.
