Kharif: Al-Wahda District Al-Wahda District in the Capital Secretariat witnessed celebrations commemorating the Mawlid al-Nabawi, including cultural evenings in several neighborhoods, attended by the Deputy Ministers of Social Affairs and Culture, along with local officials.
According to Yemen News Agency, speeches during the celebrations emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday to introduce his biography and inspire people to emulate his teachings. Officials urged the community to participate widely in the central event at Al-Sabeen Square.
The events in Al-Wahda District were vibrant, featuring chanting, poetic segments, and folkloric performances. These cultural expressions highlighted the significance of the occasion and fostered a sense of unity and joy among attendees.
In addition to the celebrations, the District Director made visits to care centers for people with special needs, reflecting the values of compassion and solidarity central to the Prophet's teachings. The Social Affairs Office also took part in these acts of kindness by distributing gifts and clothing to students, further embodying the prophetic values of mercy and community support.
