Sana'a: A celebratory event organized by the executive offices in the Al-Thawra District was held to commemorate the Prophet's birthday. The event was graced by the presence of Sana'a Planning Committee Chairman Sharaf Al-Hadi and Deputy Minister of Public Works Abdulkarim Al-Houthi, who emphasized the importance of active participation in Mawlid activities and the significance of the celebrations.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abdulkarim Al-Houthi highlighted the extensive preparations undertaken by the Public Works Office for the celebrations. These preparations included enhancing roads and the main entrances leading to Al-Sabeen Square and the Military College Square to ensure smooth traffic flow and accommodate visitors. Al-Houthi also discussed the virtues of Prophet Muhammad and the importance of adhering to the Prophet's example and the teachings of the Holy Quran.
Al-Houthi expressed concerns over hostile schemes, cultural invasions, and soft warfare targeting the nation's faith and identity, specifically accusing Israel and the United States of repeatedly insulting the Holy Quran. District Director Aqeel Al-Saqqaf underscored the religious occasion's significance and the Yemeni people's deep love and reverence for the Prophet. He urged citizens to reaffirm their commitment to the Prophet's guidance and the Quran and encouraged participation in the large public celebration scheduled for Rabi' al-Awwal 12 at Al-Sabeen Square.
Public Works District Director Abdulmajid Al-Shahari reiterated the importance of commemorating the occasion as a testament to the Yemenis' love and loyalty to the Prophet, as well as their dedication to his message and path.
