Hajjah: The residents of the districts of Haradh, the provincial center, Kuhlan al-Sharaf, Kuhlan Afar, Al-Mahabishah, and Sharis organized festivals and evenings on the occasion of the Day of the Guardianship (Yawm al-Wilayah) of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
According to Yemen News Agency, the speeches during the events emphasized the importance of this occasion as a means to renew loyalty to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali. The gatherings aimed to strengthen the faith-based identity of the attendees, promote resistance against the forces of global arrogance, and express support for the Palestinian people and their struggle.
The participants also highlighted the risks of abandoning the principle of guardianship (wilayah), warning that such deviation could lead to subservience to the enemies of the nation, specifically mentioning America and Israel. The call was made for a broad participation in the central events planned for Ghadir Day.
The celebrations included folklore segments that showcased the Yemeni people's deep connection to Imam Ali, adding cultural vibrancy to the religious significance of the occasion.
