Sana'a: The Central Bank of Yemen - Hodeida Branch - organized a cultural evening yesterday to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), under the slogan "At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah." During the event, the Deputy Governor for Services Affairs, Mohammed Halisi, affirmed that commemorating this great occasion embodies the faith-based identity of the Yemeni people, renews their pledge of allegiance to the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, and draws inspiration from the lessons and wisdom of his noble life in truthfulness, trustworthiness, justice, and benevolence.

According to Yemen News Agency, Halisi praised the efforts of the leadership of the Central Bank of Yemen in confronting the economic war aimed at destroying the national economy and their efforts to maintain the stability of the currency exchange rate. He considered the resilience of national institutions, foremost among them the Central Bank, an extension of the resilience of the Yemeni people and their adherence to the principles of truth and justice brought by Islam. The bank branch manager in the province, Fayez Jahash, noted that the Yemeni people's celebration of the Prophet's birthday is a true embodiment of their sincere love and deep connection to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and a source of pride in their identity as people of wisdom and faith.

He explained that the Yemenis were among the first to support the Prophet, and they remain committed to the same pledge today: supporting the oppressed, rejecting injustice and arrogance, and adhering to the principles of mercy brought by the Chosen One, the truthful and trustworthy. For his part, Khalid Al-Ahdal, speaking on behalf of the scholars, reviewed aspects of the life of the Prophet and the challenges he faced in conveying the message of Islam.

He called on everyone to show compassion and brotherhood, and to emulate the Prophet whom Allah sent as a mercy to all mankind. He emphasized the importance of unity in confronting the challenges facing the nation as a result of the aggression and blockade, and the arrogance and intransigence of the Saudi regime in continuing its crimes against the Yemeni people and exacerbating their suffering.

The evening, attended by the directors of the Hays and Khokha districts, Marwan Halisi and Amjad Al-Amisi, respectively, as well as the bank's deputy director, Mazen Maqbuli, department heads, section chiefs, and bank branch employees, included songs and an expressive poem.
