Al-hodeida: The Central Correctional Facility in Al-Hodeida Governorate organized a speech and cultural evening commemorating the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (may the best prayers and complete peace be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, during the evening, the Deputy Governor for Services Affairs, Mohammed Halisi, affirmed that commemorating the Mawlid al-Nabawi embodies the connection to the Messenger of God (PBUH) and reinforces in people's hearts the values of guidance, mercy, solidarity, and charity. These are considered fundamental principles in building society and reforming its individuals.
Halisi pointed out the importance of reflecting the meanings of the occasion in actual behavior and practice, emphasizing that rehabilitation and reform programs within correctional institutions should serve as a path to rebuilding the inmate's character. This approach aims to enhance their awareness and responsibility toward their family and community, contributing to creating a suitable environment for their return to public life.
The evening featured a poem recited by inmate Yassin Abboud and a speech on behalf of the inmates delivered by Omar Al-Bajali. Through these presentations, they expressed the status of the Greatest Messenger in the hearts of the nation and highlighted the importance of emulating his morals and biography in reforming oneself and society.
