Sanaa: The district of As Sawadiyah in Al-Bayda province witnessed today a central event for the districts of the central square, commemorating the anniversary of the Day of the Guardianship (Yawm al-Wilayah) of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

According to Yemen News Agency, the event included residents from the districts of As Sawadiyah, Radman, Al-Malajim, Nati', Na'man, Al-Wahabiyah, and At Taffah. Participants chanted slogans that highlighted the religious and historical importance of Yawm al-Wilayah.

Speeches delivered at the event, which was attended by provincial deputies Ali Sheikh and Dr. Ahmed Al-Shaibah, along with the commander of the Seventh Military Region, Brigadier General Nasser Subhan, and the Security Directors of Al-Bayda and Shabwah, Brigadier Generals Ahmed Al-Sharafi and Ali Al-Rasas respectively, emphasized the occasion as a faith-based milestone. This milestone is seen as an opportunity to draw inspiration from the values and principles embodied by Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him). The event was also graced by local and executive leaders, as well as social figures, and featured poems celebrating the significance of the day.
