Sana’a: The Emergency Development Central Intervention Unit organized a ceremonial event to commemorate the 1447 AH Martyrs’ Anniversary. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Local Administration and Rural Development, Nasser Al-Mahdar, along with several ministry and unit leaders. Speeches highlighted that the martyrs’ anniversary serves as a renewed tribute, inspiring lessons from their sacrifices, reaffirming commitment to the path of honor, freedom, continuing their mission in development and serving the nation.
According to Yemen News Agency, speakers expressed pride in following the path of the martyrs, emphasizing that the Central Intervention Unit will remain actively engaged in development efforts to serve the Yemeni people and strengthen their resilience. The unit also held a ceremony honoring the families of its martyrs at its headquarters and provincial branches, distributing plaques and symbolic gifts to recognize their contributions, sacrifices, and to reaffirm loyalty to those who gave their lives for the nation’s dignity and honor.
Additionally, the Deputy Minister and unit staff visited the graves of Martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad, Prime Minister Ahmed Al-Rahwi, other ministers, and Chief of Staff General Mohammed Al-Ghamari, reciting Al-Fatiha and laying wreaths of flowers. They also toured the photo exhibitions of Martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad, government martyrs, and other martyr exhibits at Al-Sab’een Square, as well as the Martyrs’ Garden in Al-Khamseen, reading Al-Fatiha for their souls.
During the visits, they expressed deep reverence and pride for the martyrs’ great sacrifices and heroic deeds, pledging to continue their path and uphold their mission in defending the homeland and championing the causes of the nation.
