Humanitarian Sector and Social Unit Commemorate Martyr’s Anniversary in Sa’ada

Sa’ada: The Humanitarian Sector and the Social Unit in Sa’ada governorate organized a cultural and commemorative event on Monday to honor the annual Martyr’s Anniversary. The event saw participation from members of the Shura Council, deputy governors, and executive office directors.



According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Mohammed Awad expressed his appreciation for the widespread participation across districts and communities at the event. He highlighted the significance of instilling the culture of martyrdom in future generations and praised the province’s tribes for their honorable stance and readiness to confront challenges. Additionally, he commended the security services for dismantling a U.S.-Israeli-Saudi espionage network.



Commander of the Mobilization Forces in Sa’ada, Ali al-Zahiri, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the greatness of martyrdom in the path of Allah. He described martyrdom as an eternal honor and divine reward, stressing the importance of defending Islam’s cause to honor the martyrs’ sacrifices. Al-Zahiri affirmed the continued readiness of Yemenis to defend their nation.



Hamid Muhmil, representing the Humanitarian Sector, spoke about the unparalleled sacrifices of the martyrs. He noted that these sacrifices serve as a lasting school from which generations can learn the values of dignity, freedom, pride, and self-sacrifice for the sake of Allah.
