Sanaa: The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Capital Secretariat and the Yemeni Corporate Sports Union today honored the delegation of the Fahman Club team from Abyan, which arrived in Sanaa to play its match in the first division football league. During the honoring, the Secretary General of the Local Council of the Capital Secretariat, Amin Jumaan, affirmed that sports remain the purest space to host the energies of youth, pointing out the importance of integrating roles between the local authority and the private sector in supporting athletes and young people. He noted that honoring Fahman Club today in the capital Sanaa is an honor for all the meanings of steadfastness and determination embodied by athletes in various governorates. Jumaan appreciated this initiative by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Yemeni Corporate Sports Union.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports for the Sports Sector, Ali Hadhban, expressed the ministry's pride in the partnership with the private sector, considering that combined efforts are the main driver for the continuation of the Yemeni sports wheel and the development of the capabilities of creative individuals.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Capital Secretariat and President of the Yemeni Corporate Sports Union, Ali Al Hadi, affirmed that supporting clubs and athletes is part of the social and national responsibility of the private sector. He pointed out the importance of sports in enhancing national cohesion and hosting the energies of youth, noting that Fahman Club is a model of determination, ambition, and honorable presence for Yemeni sports.
