Hajjah: The Women's Authority in Hajjah governorate organized cultural competitions for girls' summer courses in a number of districts under the slogan "And say: My Lord, increase me in knowledge." The events were held in eastern Abs, the governorate center, and several districts including Sharis, Kuhlan Afar, Shahil, Mabyan, Al Miftah, Mahabishah, Shamsan, and Al Madinah in Mahabishah.
According to Yemen News Agency, the competitions marked the conclusion of the girls' summer courses. These events were coordinated with the subcommittee for summer activities and courses in the governorate. The women's authority coordinators noted that the competitions serve as a culmination of the journey of guidance and certainty, aiming to instill a Quranic insight and awareness among the participants.
The coordinators emphasized the significance of these competitions and summer courses in fostering positive competition among participating schools. They highlighted the role these activities play in enhancing awareness, strengthening faith-based identity, and promoting Quranic culture among the students. They also reviewed the outcomes of the summer courses in discovering and developing talents across various fields.
Following the competitions, the winners of the top positions were recognized and honored. The final competition at the governorate level is scheduled for tomorrow.
