Charity Exhibition Opens to Distribute Clothes to Needy Families in Ma’in District

Sanaa: The head of the Social Affairs Committee at the Local Council of the Capital Sanaa, Hammoud Al Naqeeb, inaugurated the 20th charity exhibition aimed at distributing clothes to impoverished families in the Ma'in district. This initiative seeks to support families in need during the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha.

According to Yemen News Agency, the exhibition is organized by the Diamond Development Foundation in collaboration with philanthropists, targeting 400 families by providing clothing for family members across various age groups. Al Naqeeb, alongside Nasser Al Kahali, Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in the Capital Secretariat, and Nabil Rajih, Director of Associations, examined the exhibition's offerings. Taha Al Radhi, head of the foundation, provided insights into the foundation's charitable, developmental, and social projects.

The head of the Social Affairs Committee emphasized the significance of such humanitarian initiatives, highlighting their role in easing the burdens on impoverished families and fostering the values of compassion and charity within the community. He commended the foundation and the philanthropists for their continued efforts in organizing the charity exhibition, which plays a crucial role in meeting the needs of the less fortunate and promoting solidarity and benevolence.

In recognition of his support, the Diamond Development Foundation honored Hammoud Al Naqeeb with the foundation's shield, acknowledging his contributions to advancing the foundation's charitable activities within the Capital Secretariat.
