Sanaa: A Chinese survey released Tuesday showed that manufacturing activity in China grew in June, driven by increased exports of computer equipment fueled by a surge in demand for artificial intelligence. According to Yemen News Agency, the National Bureau of Statistics reported that China's manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) rose to 50.3 in June, up from 50 in May, exceeding analysts' expectations. A reading above 50 indicates expansion in the sector's economic activity, while a reading below 50 indicates contraction. Meanwhile, the sub-index for new orders rose to 51.2 in June, up from 49.9 in May, while the production index climbed to 51.4 from 51.2.
